before I acquired looping gear. Up-coming live performances will include looping.
It is great to see this site on the internet. I have just started playing with the Oberheim echoplex and remember the time years ago of using the very first Tape loop echoplexes and echochords. I think for me, it was using these that began the first orientation toward looping as a technique. Although the new echoplex is called the 'spiritual predecessor' of the former echoplex, and is indeed, none-the-less, I have to say,for me, the two devices are two birds of a different feather. In the future, if it is your desire, perhaps I can explain as best I can, what those differences are. Both devices are in a class of their own.
