I’ve stayed few times at the Dream Inn, which was quite
pleasant. It has been a while, so things may have changed, but it’s probably
worth checking out. The hotel is the only one in Santa Cruz that is right on
the beach. They changed the rules after it was built, but it’s grandfathered.
I believe it has since changed its name to the West Coast Santa Cruz Hotel. I
would expect it to be expensive because of its location.

Hi all - I'm planning to be at LoopFest in October.
Can anyone tell me what location is best for a hotel? Does the Fest occur
near the beach or closer to downtown? I'd like to be as close to the
