The date of the Santa Cruz Loopfest should, of course, be taken into 
serious consideration, since I'm sure a number of the same people would 
be interested in attending or playing both and it wouldn't be to the 
advantage of either to diminish the already-specialized audience. 
Obviously they shouldn't be the same weekend, at the very least.

On the other hand, if they were just a week apart or something, people 
(like me) traveling from some distance could try to attend both. Santa 
Cruz and Seattle are on the same coast and probably not too expensive to 
fly between.

Or maybe it'd be better to space them out more...hmm...
