Hey - why don't you post a thread at the Ableton forum? I bet you  
would get loads of exciting posts, movie links etc :-)   Some DJ's  
chose to play DJ sets with Live instead of 2 turntables and the mixer  
and I remember one of those guys once said that the great thing with  
using a laptop for DJ-ing is that you can fade loops in or out and  
focus more at reading the floor instead of mastering the beat syncing  
process (headphone halfway on, bending over the needle looking  
totally uncool when loosing contact with the audience... kind of).
