I'd agree with the Adrenalinn.  Very interesting little box.  I have a
Roland RSP-550 that responds to MIDI aftertouch, etc commands to
change effect params.  I haven't tried anything yet, I have too many
toys to learn!

The Alesis ModFX will respond to beat sync, but that's not quite the same.
