Re: Cassette 4-Track... Req!

I used a regular good-quality cassette deck to archive my old 4-track
tapes.
Recorded them to computer in two passes - two tracks at a time. Then used
Cooledit to reverse the two that come in backwards and pitch shift them all
up an octave. Then reassemble and mix in Cubase. That was soe years ago. I
think I've lost both the tapes and the Cubase files since then!

planning on getting a 4 track cassette recorder so I can master my 4 track
cassettes. I have a box full and will probably be surprised to hear what's
on them (I hope surprised as in good).

cheap. $350-$400. Still, it's not a bad price for what they're are (were)
if
they're running and in excellent condition.
