Any idea what it is? (in hours:minutes:seconds, or if a tape loop, then 
how long in feet or
meters)...

If reality is pre-recorded as Burroughs used to say, then maybe reality is 
actually a giant tape
loop (a mobius strip)... maybe it hasn't completed one cycle yet...
