EDP Sync to Yamaha RM1x

Hello

I've just bought a new echoplex and lovely it is too except for some
reason I can't get it to stay in midi clock sync with my Yamaha RM1x. If I
use a Korg electribe drum machine as a master clock it syncs perfectly but
not to the RM1x for some reason. I tried searching under 'RM1x' in the
mailing list archive but the search engine won't accept it as a search
term.

Any help much appreciated.
