omg dude. uve stumbled across a great tool. now uve got ME thinkin Phil! so the box has 3 buttons. BYPASS, STUTTER, POLARITY. i play a really fast tremolo on one note on my gtr. i have the box in neg polarity. so im hearing what i play. i hit rec on the edp and start stuttering. when i hit the stutter switch my playing is silenced (neg polarity, remember?). so the rhythm is created with spaces. i hit rec on the edp. it starts playing back. good. i toggle the polarity switch. its now positive(silence except when i depress). i hit the stutter switch (this latches off the bypass switch automatically effectively rendering my gtr silent until i depress the stutter switch). i hit overdub on the edp. i tremolo another note far from the 1st one. i play the exact rhythm on the stutter switch only this time my note plays in all the previous spaces!. i hit rec on the edp. VOILA! an impossible technique to play live. im DEFINITELY building one. PS: thanks for ur polarity idea Rainer ___ Adrian Bartholomew Leawood KS On Sep 19, 2005, at 11:35 AM, phill wilson wrote: Hi All
